The GM/GM is one amazing kit. Highly articulated and very ripe for custom work. I was inspired to do “GM-Pool” after seeing Deadpool 2 (what else? 🤣). The GM is an excellent base for this project and I only did minimal modifications to the body to simulate Mr Pool’s costume. Namely doing some scribing along the waist, thighs, and adding some pla-plate to the torso. Paints used were also minimal. After priming using Mr Hobby Primer Surfacer, i did a layer of Mr Finishing Surfacer Black on all the pieces. The reds used here were a combination of Gaianotes Flat Red and Armored Komodo Barium Red. The weapons (MSG weapon units from Kotobukiya) have touches of red along with Gaianotes Gunmetal and Starbright Iron. – Adapted from the FB album
