From the modeler….
Base colors are from Gaiacolor mixes, except for the whites. I don’t usually use colors straight from the bottle, even for greys. For the Rebake, I used variations of veridian green + ultra blue, accents of pure orange and white and also tones of gray for the frame. Plus bright red on the cables.
For weathering, I used ammo products. I painted the chippings with acrylic dark rust color using No.0 pointed brush. Accumulated dirt and streaking effects are done with ammo streaking grime, streaking rust, and dark streaking grime. Some filters on the white, oil effects on the joints then finished with pigments (dark earth and track rust.
