I am an Astray fan, almost everyone in our group knows that so I was really impressed when I saw this Sengoku Astray Custom when attended GBWC 2014. Luckily, a modeler name Janmikel Ong sent the images via e-mail and I was surprised that he is the modeler of the Sengoku Parakeet that won second runner up in the New Challenger Category in the recent GBWC Phillippines 2014.
Would you believe that this is the modeler’s first painted kit? Yup, you read it right and as you can see this project is a kitbash of Sengoku Astray and Wing Gundam EW.
Here are the colors he used:
- Green = Tamiya Clear Green
- Silver = Tamiya Titanium Silver
- Gold = Tamiya Gold Leaf
- Orange = Tamiya Orange
- Black = Tamiya Gunmetal
He also used 0.3mm and 0.5mm mechanical pencil for panel lining.
