Welcome to the CustoMecha Gundam Model Kit Custom Challenge 2014 ! Show your skills as you customize the kit of your choice and compete with fellow modelers in our group. Modified / Customized Gunpla Kit Category 

Modify your mobile suit, it may be a resin kit, kitbash, straight build, panel lined or painted (e.g. airbrush, spray cans, hand painted) as long as it would comply the maximum weapons allowed (see Rules and Mechanics)

Weathered / Battle Damage Effect Category

Not a fan of clean builds and prefers the weathered or battle damage effect? This is the right category for you! (See Rules and Mechanics)

Netizens’ Choice Award – Special Prize

People have different tastes and preferences, so even if you won’t win either of the categories above but people love your work, there is still a chance of winning! (see Rules and Mechanics)

Eligibility to Join

1. Only members of the CustoMecha Group in Facebook can join this contest.
2. For Prize Purposes:

***For Philippine residents only: Prizes may be sent via Paypal, LBC, Western Union, Globe GCash, Smart Padala, BDO and BPI Family Savings not Bank of the Philippine Islands.

***For Non-Philippine residents only: A participant should have Option 1: A valid Paypal Account / Option 2: Western Union Money Transfer Branch nearby for electronic money transfer. These two are the safest way to send the prize.

Rules and Mechanics

1. A participant can use any scale, SD, Real Grade, High Grade, Master Grade, Perfect Grade, Non Grade and Mega Scale.
2. Any member who enters this competition with a project that already appeared on the internet that includes blog posts, forum builds, competitions, review builds will be ineligible to enter. I strongly suggest you refrain from posting ‘Work-in-Progress’ images if that certain project will be your entry.
3. Do not upload the images on your personal Facebook account’s album when you already finished your entry. A participant can only share the entry online when the designated article was published in CustoMecha http://customecha.com , this is for the Netizens’ Choice Award purposes. To win this category, the number of shares via Facebook, Twitter and other social boomarking sites.
4. Each share is a score and will be added. YOU CANNOT SHARE THE PHOTOS UNLESS IT’S FROM THE CUSTOMECHA SITE. IF A PARTICIPANT CANNOT COMPLY, THEN HE WILL BE SUBJECTED FOR DISQUALIFICATION.
5. Posting will be on a first come first serve basis and will be published after the deadline of submission.
6. All entries must be e-mailed to johnmamaril@yahoo.com containing the shots of the front, left side, right side and rear, work-in progress pics are also welcome. Also, write a description about the entry, e-mail the details in this format: Participant’s Name, Kit Model (e.g. 1/100 Master Grade Gouf), Project Title, Participant’s Alias (if any), Category to join.
7. All photos SHOULD NOT be touched up/photoshopped in order to modify the appearance of any enhancements or imperfections of the kit. No special effects allowed.
8. No brand restrictions.
9. Maximum weapons allowed; Two (2) rifles/machine guns, Two (2) swords, Two (2) Handguns, Two (2) Daggers or Claws, One (1) Bazooka or Cannon. One single handheld weapon such as giant ax, whip,mace or alike can be added, too.
10. Entries will be accepted from Friday April 26, 2014 until May 4, 2014, 11:59 p.m. PST. Any submissions after the set deadline will not be considered for judging. Winners will be announced no later than May 31, 2014. Contestants can enter any/both categories.

By taking part in the competition, the participant guarantee that all information submitted is true, current and complete at the time of submission. The participant has the sole responsibility to ensure that the details and e-mail address are accurate. If there are changes in the details (not photos), you should inform CustoMecha via the e-mail provided. CustoMecha.com is not responsible for any changes which are not properly notified from the time of submission of the entry to the time of notification that the prizes have been awarded.

CustoMecha.com will be considered as part-owner of the images submitted. By entering the competition, participants allowed the site absolutely the copyright and all other rights in the entry for the full period of the copyright.
