Bandai MG 1/100 Hi-Nu Gundam Ver.KA Custom by Polo Bormate

The concept of this build was to create a “realistic” version of the Hi-Nu Gundam. Mechanical details, panel separations, warning sign placements, and different textures for the metals used are created to make the Hi-Nu look like a real machine. I wanted to stick to the original color scheme of white and purple but with different tones of those main colors with very minimal shading. The fin funnels’ stripes are also a throwback to the original design from the novel where the purple stripes wrap continuously around the funnels when they are folded and attached to the backpack. Contrasting flat and metallic finishes are done to simulate differences in materials used in the machine. LED lights are placed throughout the MS to show the thrusters and sensors. A green glow under some parts of the armor are added to emulate the psychoframe effect.
