1/144 HG GM III Battle Damaged/Weathered Custom by patonutrya
From the modeler…
I’m very proud to share that this model won the national competition in dioramas of Chile while Gunpla Chile community, won first place in the advanced category.
The concept is to portray an attack at low altitude; the GM III crosses a river at low altitude and was attacked by missiles. The diorama has a wooden base covered in lacquer, for the terrain, earth and rocks effects were added. I used real sand for the river side and several layers of silicone were placed for the river effect.

The LED is connected to a USB cable and connected to a power source, as you can see there are three (3) LEDs placed: on the impact on the shield, head and backpack. The fx thrusters were also modified with the use of silicone. On the backpack, there are 4 pins of optical fiber connected to a red LED.
Most of the parts were airbrushed, and scratch building as well as brush painting for weathering was performed. As for the decals, they were custom-made.
