Welcome to JESTA-WAY I Like It All Out Challenge!
Finally! After several weeks of planning, I came up with a decision, let’s create projects JESTA-Way we like it! It’s time to go creative again on kitbashing and on putting other gimmicks on your project! Compete with different modelers in our group as you customize the ever sexy JESTA! Let’s enjoy the hobby as well as the different customization procedure which makes this contest more challenging.
Contest Details (One Entry per Member)
ALL OUT JESTA Project
Modify a JESTA, 1/144 and 1/100 scales only, paint it as you like (e.g. airbrush, spray cans, hand painted) but this time. NO DIORAMA!!! … see Rules and Mechanics
Winners will receive:

Netizens’ Choice Award – Special Prize
People have different tastes and preferences, so even if you didn’t become the champion or the runner up, but people love your work, there is still a chance of winning! (see Rules and Mechanics)

Eligibility to Join
- Only members of the CustoMecha Group in Facebook can join this contest. You have to register on this document. Please read the instructions stated in the document. Accepting new group members will be closed on August 15, 2015 and will resume on September 1, 2015.
- For Prize Purposes:
***For Philippine residents only: Prizes may be sent via PayPal, BDO and BPI Family Savings (not Bank of the Philippine Islands).
***For Non-Philippine residents only: A participant should have Option 1: A valid PayPal Account / Option 2: Western Union Money Transfer Branch nearby for electronic money transfer. These two are the safest way to send the prize.
Rules and Mechanics
- A participant can use HG 1/144 and MG 1/100 scale for the base kit, Jesta. DIORAMA is NOT allowed.
- Any member who enters this competition with a project that already appeared on the internet that includes blog posts, forum builds, competitions, review builds will be ineligible to enter. I strongly prohibit posting ‘Work-in-Progress’ images of your entry during contest duration.
- DO NOT upload the images on your personal Facebook account’s album during the contest duration and if you already finished your entry. A participant can ONLY share the entry online when the designated article was published in the official site CustoMecha, http://customecha.com , this is for the Netizens’ Choice Award purposes.To win this category, the number of shares via Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and StumbleUpon will be tallied. Each share is counted as a score which will be reflected on the social plugin counter and will be added. YOU CANNOT SHARE THE PHOTOS UNLESS IT’S FROM THE CUSTOMECHA SITE. IF A PARTICIPANT CANNOT COMPLY, THEN HE WILL BE SUBJECTED FOR DISQUALIFICATION.
- Posting will be on a first come first serve basis and will be published after the deadline of submission.
- All entries must be e-mailed to johnmamaril@yahoo.com and/or customecha@gmail.com containing the FOUR (4) main shots of the front, left side, right side and rear, work-in progress images are also required (minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 images). Also, write a description about the entry (not more than 300 words), and e-mail the details in this format: Participant’s Name, Scale, Project Title, Participant’s Alias (if any).
- All photos SHOULD NOT be touched up/photoshopped in order to modify the appearance of any enhancements or imperfections of the kit. No special effects allowed.
- Five (5) Points per photo will be deducted for incomplete submission.
- No brand restrictions.
- Entries will be accepted from August 22, 2015 until August 29, 2015, 11:59 p.m. Philippine Time. Any entry submitted after the set deadline will be automatically disqualified.
- Announcement of winners: TBA
By taking part in the competition, the participant guarantee that all information submitted is true, current and complete at the time of submission. The participant has the sole responsibility to ensure that the details and e-mail address are accurate. If there are changes in the details (not photos), you should inform CustoMecha via the e-mail provided. CustoMecha.com is not responsible for any changes which are not properly notified from the time of submission of the entry to the time of notification that the prizes have been awarded.
CustoMecha.com will be considered as part-owner of the images submitted. By entering the competition, participants allowed the site absolutely the copyright and all other rights in the entry for the full period of the copyright.
