“This project is more of my first experimentation with subtle tonal color separation in which Tamiya’s Bright Red and Dull Red are used to mark the separation of armour panels.
Modification is noticeably on the legs to give the kit a more mecha feel with addition of hydraulic cylinders and movable toes and heels. Some little addition of swivable missile pod on the shoulders as well.
Light panel line scribing and pla plating are also involved.
Light weathering using dual layers of paint is applied – The kit is painted with Tamiya’s Base metal silver and then over-coated with the reds. Then the reds are lightly chipped using mini filer.”
