Thanks to Tommy Teng for allowing me to feature his Nu Gundam Ver Ka Custom which he called Nu Gundam RX93 Ver Ka Revolution. When I suddenly saw this on a certain page, I immediately contacted this very skilled modeler and luckily he e-mailed me the high resolution images. Let’s know more about this project fromt the modeler himself…
“This is my first Gundam ver ka. It is too awesome when I was building this monster because it has a lot of parts, up to 300 pieces(including double fin funnel). It challenges my patience while doing it. So I call it Nu Gundam RX93 Ver Ka Revolution.
I used Sapphire Night Blue for some parts. Aside from that, I do weathering by using air brush which i never did before. For the white parts, I used Tamiya White which is really smooth and gloss surface. Inner parts are eating a lot of times when spraying because i got many small parts, up to 80 pieces (more or less).
The hardest job is putting on the metal parts on it. The smallest size of metal part is 1.0mm . It really challenges my eyes (luckily my eyes are still in good condition). I love the water-decal because it is really an interesting part on this custom. I can adjust the position (of the kit) I way I want to and that fulfill my satisfaction.”
