Thanks to yeungenuis for sharing this MG 1/100 GNX-603T GN-X SOMA CUSTOM (Metallic Painted Build), and here’s the info on how he come up with this very jaw-dropping project.

“The design of the GN-X is unique compared to other Gundam mechanical designs. For this concept, I did some research on the web to see different custom-painted works with variations of color, but I did not see anything in purple with metallic color. Therefore, I planned to build a custom GN-X for Soma which is painted in purple. I would like to finish it with metallic colors and add more details. I also added some pane lines and metal parts on this kit and a camera- like mechanics on the nape part. For the colors, I used mostly Gaia’s paint.
First, I covered the kits with grey surfacer and applied the following:
Light base chrome – ex07
Dark base chrome – 1001 stainless silver ex07 + gloss black
Mechanics parts – 123 star bright duralumin and red gold(forget the band)
Light Metallic purple – gloss black> EX07> clean purple
Dark Metallic purple – gloss black> EX07> 037 primary color violet
Light metallic gun metal- 020 gun metal + 1001 stainless silver
Dark metallic gun metal – 020 gun metal + gloss black
After the basic painting, I used TAMIYA XF-1 Flat Black for the panel line and for the decals, I have chosen Bandai’s GNX water decal which was bought from China, and Kotobukiya‘s purple water decal.”
