This Duel Assault Shroud Gundam Titanium Build was made by Lotd Painting Station. I’m so glad that the modeler shared to us how he come up with this kind of finish.

From the modeler…

“To achieve this metallic look, we need to use the candy tone technique as a basis, wherein silver is used as the base coat then coated with a candytone color. In this case of candy tone I used was clear blue. however, the results obtained with the candytone technique seems to be too shiny, it looks good but less look like metal. So the key for the preferred result I used AKA top coat for the finishing touches.

On some parts, I use gloss coating, but don’t make it  totally wet. Use a very thin gloss coat and sprayed with a misting technique by adjusting the maximum aperture of the penbrush and spray it a little bit farther. Take note, do not spray in a way that it will totally get wet.
