Abandoned Gundam Project by Craze
Here’s an overview about the project of our modeler friend from Netherlands named Jay aka Craze…
The Concept: Aile Strike has ran into an enemy fleet by itself and had to take shelter in the jungle to survive. After various battles Aile Strike was damaged badly and needed to adept to his surroundings. it’s communication systems are broken, so the pilot had to survive for a period on his own without any major repairs. The pilots only luck was that he managed to get ammo and a few parts at an abandoned base he found in the jungle. The enemy fleet has started a hunt on the Aile Strike and set up a small base.
I’m currently busy building a Gundam Buster to join into this fight. Also want to build an epic jungle diorama when i find the time for it.Paints I’ve used:
- Tamiya weathering masters: A,B,C,D and F
- Vallejo Pigments
- Black/ Grey Wash
- Grey acrylic
- Matte Spray
I used 5 different sizes of brushes to add the layers of dirt strategically, a sponge to for chipping, toothbrush for splashing the mud on, cutters and sandpaper for the cuts and also used real ashes
