This is my entry in a local Gundam Group HG Build-off competition held last December 2014. My original color scheme is to combine Blue and Orchid to have like bluish violet color but since I only used spray cans the result was not good enough. I disregarded the blue and move on to full orchid/red/metallic ash gray color scheme and dry brushing using metallic silver for the chipping effect.
It turnout great and won 2nd place.
Color Used:
Nikko Spray Can – Orchid (main color), Red, Metallic Ash Gray,
Metallic Silver for the chipping effect using dry brush technique, Bosny Flat Clear (top coat) and Sharpie Bronze Marker for additional details.
