1/100 Kotobukiya SA-666 WITCH (BLACK CAT VER.) Customized by yeungenuis

In 2013, I visited the Kotobukiya shop in Akiba and saw this following kit. It is a custom kit built on the concept of a Japanese witch. I have asked myself why do I build a western witch riding a broom with a black cat? Just like the girl in the animation “Kiki’s Deliver Service”.
This kit is built base on the SA-17 ラピエール. Different types of MSG weapon packs and frame arms expansion pack are used to build the hat, dress and broom.
For the colors, I used mostly Gaia’s paint. First, I covered the kits with grey or white surfacer and applied the following:
- Light violet – 24 cobalt blue + 19 lavender + white + fluorescent pink
- White – EX 01 white + 72 neural grey II + blue
- Weapon grey- navy blue + white + 72 neural grey II and custom made violet grey
After the basic painting, I used TAMIYA XF-1 Flat Black for the panel line. For the decaling , HIQ parts water decals have been used.
