From the modelers…

For the paint we used mainly acrylic citadel paint from the warhammer 40k segment. Most details we added was painted by hand with an wide range of brushes. Just the big white parts as the inner frame was sprayed. There we used corax white and lead Belcher. Some small parts were base coloured with mechanical grey but that’s not worth mentioning xD Source

The diorama was built very cheaply. We let ourselves go and cut rough edges in an styrofoam before we glued that all together. Step by step all things started to make an nice scene. The stones were pre-printed we just needed to cut and adjust these in the right position. Modeling clay was used for filling up small gaps between the styrofoam and stones. After that we added some details like real small rocks and rough edges on the cliff side. Spray adhesive was in that case our best friend to put the loose parts in place.

8 hours drying later the painting begins. Ground coating with standard grey spray and dry brush with lighter colours. A little terrarium sand invasion later everything was finished. Source

For the future we will add an frame with LED on the inside to put that scene in an better view.
